THE Front for Economic Emancipation in Zimbabwe (FEEZ) led by Godfrey Tsenengamu has deployed a new team of what it calls “green revolution troopers” into its National Working Team (NWT) on various tasks as it seeks to penetrate the political landscape and position itself well ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The former Zanu-PF youth leader announced his party early September. He was suspended from Zanu-PF and ordered to undergo ideology training before his rehabilitation, but chose to break away from the ruling party where he made a name for himself.
In a statement, FEEZ said the deployments were on a temporary basis pending an elective National Convention to be held “as soon as practically possible”.
“The substantive leadership positions of the Party at all levels remain vacant and shall be filled in accordance with the dictates of our Party constitution,” FEEZ said.
“As the new deployees were assigned duties in various capacities, they were reminded that their perfomance shall be target-based in order to ensure the growth of the Party.
“The party shall continue to make strategic deployments and assignments of committed troopers to various portifolios and organs of the party whenever need arises.”
