3 dead, 15 injured as overloaded vehicle overturns on Byo-Vic Falls road

THREE people died on the spot, while 15 others were injured in an accident along the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls road Wednesday afternoon.
Police National Spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the accident saying that the crash occurred at Insuza and involved a Toyota Granvia minibus which was apparently overloaded.
He said police are still investigating the accident, which comes after people died in another road traffic accident along the Masvingo-Zvishavane road.

Meanwhile, police have confirmed that the number of people who died in the Masvingo-Zvishavane highway accident has increased to 22. While 20 died at the accident scene on Monday, a further two have since died in hospital. ■
