Six notorious armed robbers in court

SIX suspected notorious armed robbers are expected to appear in court this Monday facing allegations of robbery.

The six include Godfrey Josi, Richard Mutanga, Zvidozvashe Zuda, Peter Mushipe, Valentine Mutasa, and Juliet Gavaza who were arrested after a shootout with the police in Harare on Saturday.

Three of them Zuda, Mutasa and Gavaza are expected at the Harare Magistrate Courts, while the trio of Josi, Mushipe and Mutasa will appear in their respective hospital beds after they were injured in the shootout.

The suspects are allegedly connected to seven armed robbery cases which include the one at Gateway High School on 28 March where 250 thousand United States dollars cash was stolen and the robbery in Muzari Suburb of Chinhoyi on the 12th of January.
