Eskom announces Stage 2 loadshedding from this Wednesday to Sunday

SOUTH Africa’s State-controlled power utility Eskom has announced a Stage 2 loadshedding running from this Wednesday morning to Sunday night.
In a statement on its verified social media platforms, Eskom advised that the Stage 2 loadshedding will be implemented from 10:00 this morning until 22:00 on Sunday
night and was necessitated by the delays in returning generating units.
Eskom further said the high power demand due to the cold winter days have also stained its resources and stretched its power capacity.
It had tried to avoid loadshedding over the past few days particularly during the day, but this was now impossible to maintain, said Eskom in a statement this Wednesday morning.
