Zambian national football coach in court for sexual assault

ZAMBIAN national football coach Miltun Sredojevic is accused of sexually assaulting a 39-year-old woman during a football tournament in South Africa.

The sexual assault case of Sredojevic, a former Orlando Pirates coach, has been postponed to May 25, for trial.

The 51-year-old made a brief appearance in the New Brighton Magistrate’s Court in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape.

He is accused of sexually assaulting a 39-year-old woman who was working as a waiter during a Council of Southern Africa Football Associations Tournament at the Wolfson Stadium in 2020.

Micho, as the coach is known, allegedly touched the woman inappropriately while she was delivering tea to his table. He is out on bail of R10 000. – SABC 🔺
