Mwonzora appoints Damba as presidential spokesperson

MDC-T leader Douglas Mwonzora has appointed Lloyd Damba as his presidential spokesperson.
Damba, a long-time Mwonzora close confidante, will be leaving his post as chair of the party’s Chitungwiza wing to be the mouthpiece of the party that traces its origin to veteran opposition politician, the late Morgan Tsvangirai.
Damba was previously also the Chitungwiza Provincial Information Secretary for the MDC-T.
Said the MDC-T leader in a statement announcing the developments:
Appointment Of MDCT Presidential Spokesman:
I wish to announce my appointment of Lloyd Damba as my Presidential Spokesperson, with immediate effect. Mr. Damba is a dedicated party cadre who has held numerous leadership positions within the Party.
He was a longtime Chitungwiza Provincial Information Secretary before he became Provincial Chairman, a position he will relinquish as he takes this full-time position with the Party.
