ZIMDANCEHALL musician Soul Jah Love, real name Soul Musaka, has died.
He was 31.
Jah Love died this Tuesday evening at Mbuya Dorcas hospital in Waterfalls, friends and relatives have said. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital where he was taken by his friends including Ricardo.
According to a doctor’s report he had no pulse upon admission and his sugar was high.
One of his handlers, Father Paris, confirmed Jah Love’s death to tabloid H-Metro. “It’s true mukomana abaya, ma1,” he said
Marshall Bimha, popularly known as Wadis, also spoke to H-Metro at the hospital saying he has lost a brother.
Gospel hip hop musician Mudiwa Hood was gutted by the shattering news.
MDC Alliance youth leader Obey Sithole had this to say: “A huge blow to the music industry, us the music lovers & the nation at large. One of the finest Artists to ever exist in Zim dancehall has departed. My heartfelt condolences to the Musaka family & friends on the sad passing on of Soul Jah Love. Rest In Power ChiBaba 💔”
