THE WEEKEND just got crazy for Bulawayo fun lovers as top Harare socialite and businessman Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure announced that he is taking his US$350,000 red Ferrari 488 Spider down to the city of Kings and Queens for a spin.
Ginimbi specifically announced that he is landing in Bulawayo with his “toy”, sending social media abuzz in an instant.
It’s the fist time the red Ferrari 488 Spider top dollar sports car drives into Bulawayo as it is the only one of its kind in the country. This definitely means the filthy rich party animal Ginimbi is going to be a star attraction in the city this weekend.
This car which landed in Harare a few months ago has been the talk of the capital city all year with the Bulawayo trip being its first long-distance.
Although the party freak’s agenda in the city is not yet clear, one thing is certain. Wherever there is Ginimbi, there is fun and loads of it, no two ways.
So ladies, keep your white clothes on standby because an after-party of his birthday that he celebrated last week at his Domboshava mansion may just be on the cards.
While Ginimbi is expected to arrive in Bulawayo tonight, it is the day after that looks set to be see Bulawayo painted red by the Ferrari monster.
It’s also worthwhile to note that Ginimbi’s announcement came just as fun lovers in Bulawayo were already at fever pitch following the announcement of the reopening of popular nightspot, BAC Leisure and coming of BET award-winner Sha Sha tomorrow. It’s more fun added to a single weekend.
With more and more leisure spots reopening following the relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions in the country, Bulawayo is slowly reclaiming its spot as the country’s party central.
This is certainly something which most Bulawayo residents will appreciate this weekend as many people from outside the city have shown interest in visiting the city. ■
