President Mnangagwa in Zvishavane for hospital ward launch (PICS)

PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa this morning landed in Zvishavane where he is expected to commission two projects.

He is expected to commission a private ward at Zvishavane District Hospital. He will also officially open a girls hostel at the Zvishavane Vocational Training Centre.

Both projects were funded by Mimosa, a platinum mine domiciled in the Midlands town of Zvishavane.

Vice President and Minister of Health and Child Care Constantino Chiwenga, and Midlands Minister of State Larry Mavima welcomed the President.

Welcoming President Mnangagwa at the Zvishavane aerodrone were Vice President and Minister of Health and Child Care Constantino Chiwenga, and Midlands Minister of State Larry Mavima.

Defence and War veterans Minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, Minister of Mines and Mining Development Winston Chitando as well as several cabinet ministers and senior government officials.

Chitando is a former Executive Chairman and Managing Director of Mimosa Mining Company.

He was appointed to Cabinet when President Mnangagwa succeeded Robert Mugabe.
