OPPOSITION MDC veteran Elias Mudzuri who previously announced he was hospitalized after he tested positive for COVID-19 has announced that he is now COVID-19 free.
Mudzuri who at one point was aiming to be elected the court resurrected MDC T’s party president in a tweet said he tested negative for the novel coronavirus.
The former Harare Mayor thanked his supporters for their thoughts and prayers.

Mudzuri who is a senator under the MDC Alliance card, together with Morgen Komichi and Douglas Mwonzora and Tapiwa Mashakada left Nelson Chamisa’s MDC Alliance for Thokozani Khupe’s MDC T when the Supreme court declared Nelson Chamisa an illegitimate MDC T leader in March
COVID-19 has so far claimed the lives of 228 Zimbabweans according to the Health Ministry which also said only one out of 467 people that were tested for COVID-19 yesterday tested positive.
Globally the number of deaths due to COVID-19 has passed the one million mark while over 30 Million people worldwide tested positive for COVID-19.
